In the earth of Garfagnana, very close to Apuan Alps and the Appennino, the farmhouse `Cigiana di Sotto` is the ideal solution for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature. Very close to main roads to beatyfull tuscan cities as Lucca, Pisa and Florence, fully surrounded from green country and hills, you could live once again the sweet taste of simple living, genuine foods and wines, rediscovering the pleasure of ancient traditions which live again in many popular events between folklore and culture, in an increasing melody of flavours and colors that will meet you during your stay with us.

Farmhouse is situated close to the ancient medioeval castle of Castiglione, and has been carefully refurbished getting the quality standards everyone would like to find, always saving originary characteristics of rural buildings as stone, `cotto toscano` and chestnut wood. Both apartments have a large living room with kitchen and wood heating fireplace and welcome 5-6 peoples each. Bathroom with shower cabinet and laundry, exteriors with barbecue and chairs. Among the other services, a fully equipped room for learning purposes where boys and adults could wiew interesting videos concerning traditional foods and how to grow and produce them.

We have not a private pool but you can use a beautyfull one for free by a Restaurant Pizzeria with bar service only 100 mt far from apartments.

In our farmhouse you could personally live a real farmhouse`s daily jobs as land works, growing vegetables and cereals and animals breeding and learn to know some ancients quality crops as Farro and chestnuts flour.

The owner and his relatives will welcome you with the typical warm hug of country families and kindness of people who wants to offer � only the best.
